Este restaurante está ubicado en uno de los edificios más históricos de Niagara-on-the-Lake. Cannery Restaurant de la actualidad, galardonado con 4 diamantes, es un reflejo de la antigua vida del edificio como fábrica de conservas durante la década de 1800, donde se envasaron melocotones y tomates hasta 1957. Su pasado agrícola se ha representado cuidadosamente en su decoración con vigas de madera serradas, paredes de ladrillo rojo y su chimenea en el centro del restaurante. El chef Mark Longster sirve los mejores productos de la región en su menú, que incluye los productos locales más frescos y vinos exquisitos. The ambience was excellent. The service was timely and thorough, and our meals were delicious. We both ordered the New York Striploin, and my husband substituted the truffle mash (which was divine) for the garlic mash. They also were really accommodating with his peanut/ tree nut (anaphalytic) allergy. To our surprise, he was able to order dessert of the menu, and our server Bryton triple checked to ensure it was okay. We ordered the Brookie. It arrived garnished with some fruit and whip cream and a beautiful Happy Birthday message (as I was ringing in my birthday). Top notch!

This was our first time dining at the Cannery as we were celebrating our 51st Anniversary we wanted something special, elegant and with wonderful food to make our day extra special. That is exactly what we got. From the moment the young lady at the front desk greet us we knew we were in for a wonderful evening. The many rooms were decorated for the season and done beautifully. Bryton, our waiter was superb. He greeted us warmly explained the chef's special and gave us time to look over the menu have many discussions between our Daughter and ourselves as to what spoke to us. When our meals arrived 2 of the Bacon wrapped filet dinners and one Braised Short Ribs, they looked perfect and tasted even better than they looked our Filet's were cooked to perfection and our waiter was there when needed and every time he passed by the table he eye checked to see if anything was needed. Dessert is something any of us rarely have but who could resist the New York Cheesecake which our daughter and my wife shared with it's 'Happy Anniversary ' chocolate writing. while I enjoyed the trifle - only complaint there was it could have come out of the fridge earlier--will request that when we next enjoy an evening at The Cannery. Our evening at the Pillar & Post Cannery restaurant was the perfect way to celebrate a Special Occasion, or simply treat yourself to a evening out with pampering in a delightful setting. Then The Cannery in Niagara on the Lake is the place for you!!! ENJOY

The Cannery restaurant was a wonderful dining experience with amazing food and service. It was my first time but I will definitely be back. Sue our waitress was awesome.

Compared to Toronto pricing, this represent better value. Highly recommend the prime rib… outstanding. Care the horseradish is something to behold. Really enjoyed the overall experience.

Excellent dinner at the Cannery. The crab cakes, bone marrow and caesar salad appetizers were enjoyed by all. The tenderloin and lamb gnocchi were excellent entrees and the desserts (cheesecake & creme brulee) were a perfect finish to an absolutely lovely meal. But we have to mention our excellent waiter, Dave, whose impeccable service and personality made our evening perfect. Thanks Dave!! This was our first time at The Cannery and we will definitely be back. :)

The salmon was under cooked but they quickly provided a new meal that was excellent. They compensated with a free dessert. The prime rib was very good though the Yorkshire pudding was a little chewy. Our server was outstanding and handled the situation with professionalism

It’s become a place where i love to frequent and have for 30+ years. Food is always excellent service the same. A place where I feel very comfortable and always leave having had a great experience.
