   We were celebrating our anniversary and deciding to come to Camp Verde Restaurant was the perfect place. The food, though traditional fare, was delicious and presented beautifully, our waitress was excellent. Although most tables were the noise level was perfect. Conversation did not have to compete with music. I highly recommend the onion rings and pecan cobbler. Our salads were fresh, abundant and tasty! Can't wait to be in the Hill Country to return.

   As usual, our experience at Camp Verde was wonderful. The staff is always attentive and friendly and the food is tasty and in ample portions, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Always one of our stops when we're in this part of the state.

   Excellent dining, took a family group, it was their first time. Enjoyed shopping, food, and the drive was great!!

   The food and service here are always top-shelf, and the attached shops make it an experience as much as a meal. Supremely recommended.

   Great upscale dining experience. We came back to Camp Verde to start eating there regularly now that they cook with no seed oil. Food tastes great and appetizers came out quickly and hot. They’re pretty busy so you should plan to make reservations.

   Quality, quality, quality!!!!! A must must when visiting the Texas Hill Country. I am a Texas native and can’t believe I have never been here before. The setting was tranquil. The food was amazing. The service is of the charts. The staff is so helpful and the chef, Shelton, comes out to visit with the patrons. Everything is done with excellence. Even how they clean the benches by hand. It’s the details! We WILL be back!

   Always a relaxing place and a pretty drive from San Antonio. Chimichanga Chicken was dry. Signature coconut cream pie had a soggy crust that required a knife to cut.

   I can speak both for the veggie omelette and the pancake breakfasts. Both were excellent and so was the coffee, environment and the service!

   Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Camp Verde Restaurant is our must go place every time we visit the hill country. Over the years we have brought family and friends to enjoy lunch with us at Camp Verde and each time our guest were also very impressed with the food and service. We will be back!
