A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Northwest Highway) in 1997, he was sharpening his professional – and knife – skills at several well-respected Chicago dining establishments including Ambria, Spiagia, Un Grand Cafe and the Park Hyatt. Joe lives in Park Ridge, a few short miles from the restaurants, so expet to see him in both restaurants assuring a quality experience for his customers. On days off, Joe can be found at home with his wife, Mary Kay and their 3 boys. Reservations by phone: 773-775-0909. We love this restaurant, never had a bad meal. My only complaint ever is why so stingy with the delicious butter?

Second time making the trip to Touché and once again did not disappoint. Most authentic French restaurant I know of in the Chicagoland area. Our server Paris was excellent, food, service all exceeds expectations. Already looking to return

Always enjoy Cafe Touche. Chicken dishes are clearly their signature cuisine. It would be nice to see a few more fish dishes or other French bistro fare. Wine list is reasonable. Very good value for the portions and preparation. A bit noisy of you're looking for a place to chat.
