Como su nombre lo indica, Butlers Wharf Chop House Restaurant es el lugar perfecto si usted tiene antojo de algo con carne. No se puede perder los filetes de Speyside Angus X alimentado con pasto. El restaurante es elegante pero sin ser rebuscado. Es un lugar relajado junto al río en donde la procedencia de los alimentos es la clave, por lo que ofrece productos de Select Butchery, salmón ahumado de H. Forman & Son, así como ostiones y langosta locales de Carlingford Rocks. Settle into one of our brand-new riverside Winter Huts, perfectly positioned to enjoy the most iconic view of Tower Bridge. Heated and complete with furry blankets, these cosy huts are perfect for festive gatherings for up to six guests. Enjoy an exclusive menu featuring Valrhona Hot Chocolates, warming Singleton cocktails and delicious festive sandwiches. A La Carte and bar menu also available in the Winter Huts. Bookings available Monday to Friday: 12–3pm & 5.30–9pm | Saturday: 12–9pm | Sunday: 12–8pm. £140 minimum spend applies, with deposit paid upon booking. This amount will be taken off your final bill.

Sadly, I was upset with how the premises looked. After having such lovely memories from the past. I completely understand the entertainment industry is far from how it once was. However it doesn’t excuse the experience we had today. My steak and the side dish of spinach was served like warm. This was strange as there was just one other table that was dining there. How was this not hot? The chips were very hot which was good however they were not nice they were overcooked. They were greasy, it was weird. I didn’t return the steak as my husband suggested as I thought the time it comes back my husband would have finished his meal so I just ate it. I told the waiter as I was eating ,and he apologised. When the bill arrived the waiter presented the bill and said if I didn’t want to pay for my meal he would take it off the bill. I said I wasn’t happy at all However he didn’t take it off the bill, he just presented me with the card reader with the full amount. Just a half hearted offer😞. Thinking about it now I should have refused. Apart from the food the place is in a desperate need of refurbishment. It looks filthy in there. It needs painting it was so cold, I can’t believe how the company can actually think this is ok. There is a glass petition between kitchen and dining area. The glass was absolutely filthy. I was dying to use the loo but was put off by the state of the restaurant. So we paid and walked along to all bar one and had a drink in the warmth and used the loo. I really really hope chop house see my review and sort it out. Such a lovely location and I want to go back and enjoy!

We had dinner booked outside but it was cold so we asked to be moved inside. Super kind service for this, no issues. Meat was amazing but sides and desserts were average. Unfortunately long waiting time.

The service was excellent, we were well-attended, and staff made us feel welcome. The drinks were great, and the oysters were delicious. We had fillet steak, but both of the steaks had been burnt on the outside, far more than would be enjoyed or expected. We have both had steaks in many restaurants in many countries and this was the first time we had encountered this. The sides were almost perfect: the creamy mash is a crowd-pleaser, however the mac and cheese was a bit oily (probably from the cheese topping). All in all, we will return as they did far more right than wrong!

A wonderful local restaurant that always makes you feel welcome. My swordfish was perfectly cooked and my husband said his chicken pie was delicious.

The food was very good but the service was terrible. I eat out regularly and this was the worse service that I’ve experienced. We waited 30 minutes for our starter, then another 30 minutes for our main and 40 minutes for our dessert . Myself and my partner were in there for well over 3 hours for a meal . As I said the food was 7/10 , service 3/10 and that’s being generous.

We booked the outdoor hut experience, which is supposed to be heated, outdoors, and very beautiful. The hut was not heated (they said it was broken). The lights weren’t working (again, broken). The experience was pretty much eating lunch in the cold with blankets on our laps. When we got up to leave, we noticed other booths had lights and heat, and there were no other occupants! so we could’ve moved to another booth, but we were never given that option. We asked multiple times if we could get the heat and lights on and not once were we offered to move to a working booth. The food was very good but difficult to enjoy with the ruined experience, and the cold. See my pictures for the food and lack of lights and heat. The manager on duty was also very rude to us. From the moment we sat down. He was serving us initially, but there was obviously something wrong. He barely spoke to us and responded without any tone in his voice. We will never be back here, and I would highly caution anyone who is booking here, to expect poor service, and do not book the outdoor hut “experience”.
