    Great food, but steaks were barely warm. Really good service. Would have loved a hot steak. Was cooked well, just cool. Potatoes, salad & dessert delicious.

    Overall fair experience for Christmas Day. When reservations were made it was not reflected that there would only be a prefixed menu so that was little disappointing. Our waiter forgot to put in our order and didn't realize it until a good 30 minutes after the fact.. he said our order would be pushed to the front of the line and apologized for the inconvenience.. the food came out about 20 minutes later, for being pushed to the front of the line you would have thought our food would have been hot.. that was not the case, my parents steaks were cold and the potatoes were hard and cold, the crab cakes were lukewarm at best. The manager did come over and comp the meals and wine but overall a disappointment for Christmas Day..

    We all three had the fillets which were cooked to perfection. The cauliflower au gratin was extremely good and full of flavor. It was a delightful way to have a Christmas Meal.

    The. Bristol is usually our favorite restaurant. The grilled fish came out dry and not very good. If it had not been Christmas Eve I may have sent it back which I never do. They were very busy and assume that had more business than they could handle on Christmas Eve. We will go back as this was probably just one of those bad days.

    My husband and I were placed at our table 3:45pm our reservation time . It took 11 minutes for our server to come over to our table and took our drink and appetizer order. We never received water or biscuits. He then came back to ask us if we wanted to order our dinner. My husband said no we have not received our drinks or appetizer. Our sever never filled our waters the others servers did also never offered biscuits. Had to ask for them . My main coarse was put in wrong by our server and they brought Scallops should have been Sea Bass . My husband has his meal and they were working on getting me my Sea bass . The manager Brian came over to our table to state he we sorry . Brian did take off the Sea Bass Meal and the oysters my husband ordered for appetizer. Very disappointed in our evening . Our server was not good at keeping his tables water full or get biscuits and butter to his table only when we asked the other servers filled my water the whole time . We have been going to Bristol’s on Christmas Eve for over 25 years . Thanks to Brian the manger in Leawood for listening to us and compensating me for my meal and my husbands oysters!     It is always great dining at the Bristol and a special treat on Christmas Eve! We enjoyed our time very much.
