Branch and Barrel is always my go to for a casual cozy comfort meal. The Branch Berry cocktail never disappoints (but ours was missing the muddled strawberries, and I’ve had it served with a string of something before so the presentation was lacking) The food was yummy and our waitress was great. My BIG complaint is the massive waves of cold air when the doors open, which was often. It was brutal. In New England they either have a vestibule or a U shaped rod just as you walk in, hung with velvet curtains, to block the wind gusts. The doors are so centered and open to the entire space it was freezing. Still love this place though. I wish there were vegetarian options on the menu (and an Impossible burger swap option on your fantastic burgers) a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich and more hearty soups.

My favorite meal is the scallops entree. The pretzel appetizer is delicious as well!

My whole family was very impressed - all the way around. Good mixed drinks, unique beer selections, great food, and a solid atmosphere. I have lived in Alpharetta for a long time and this could be the most underrated restaurant/bar in the city (and surrounding area).

Ambiance and service are wonderful. The food left a lot to be desired. Maybe the kitchen was just having an off night, but it was not a great meal for us.

The food was great. We had the pork chop, and salmon entrees - both were done nicely. The scallop appetizer was nice with the right amount of spice. The chocolate and dark cherry cake for dessert was definitely worth it.

We were greeted by their wait staff at the door, confirmed our reservation and escorted to our table. The waiter was spot on with his timeliness and gave us complementary champagne for my birthday. Entrees were excellent …. I highly recommend this establishment and will return upon my next visit to the Avalon Center.

First Time There,Our Salads Were Great, My Wife’s Salmon&Shrimp with Potatoes and Spinach Were Outstanding!!! My Scallops Were Not Good,Seemed Overcooked and Only 3 Small Scallops, Should be At Least 4 or More… Appetizer Pretzel is Hugh but Very Good and Service By Melissa Was EXCELLENT! We Will Return!

Unfortunately we had a very horrible experience. The food was super salty and disgusting. I felt like they made the food salty on purpose because it was so bad. I had a headache and I became nauseated after I left. I’m not use to eating salty food. I often eat very healthy. Anyway, maybe the cooks were not experienced chefs; or maybe they wanted us to leave and never come back and dine here again. We felt like we were not wanted there anyway because of the fake vibes. Some restaurants get nervous when it’s too many people of color dining in at a restaurant. However, I mentioned our bad experience to the manager and he wasn’t apologetic at all. He was so defensive and made me feel like I’m just complaining; but why treat my husband and I so horrible and when we bring it to your attention you may it look like we’re the problem. No you’re causing the problem on us and your not use to us speaking up. We left and we called the restaurant back on the next day and the manager wasn’t available. So I left a message and he never returned my calls. I had to call back three more times; I was still ignored. Then finally he had a staff member to return my call and offer me a small adjustment. He thought it was about the money. To me it’s about having compassion and caring about your customers and being interested in what can your staff do better to make a future visit to your restaurant more favorable. He didn’t care. However they got their wish we will never dine here again. I shared our experience with my celebrity family.

Branch and Barrel never disappoints. One of our favorite places to visit. Staff are wonderful! Attentive, engaging and give wonderful service. The food is delicious!
