Bramble & Hare, the original Farmhouse Kitchen and Bistro, opened its doors in July 2012. Founded by Chef Eric Skokan and his wife, Jill, as the sister restaurant to their Black Cat Farm~Table~Bistro.

Bramble & Hare has a lively, warm atmosphere in its three charming dining rooms. It is located in the heart of Boulder, CO, just off the historic Pearl Street Mall.

Features a 3-course prix fixe menu with choices for each course, Hand-crafted, seasonal cocktails featuring artisanal spirits and local ingredients show the talent of our incredible bar team who make our restaurant spring to life.

The variety of produce and meats grown on their 425 acre certified Organic farm allows Chef de Cusine Heraclio Garza Silva a limitless palette of flavors, colors, and textures from which to build their award-winning cuisine.

Nice ambiance, cozy feel. Plenty of food though nothing was excellent, just okay. I had higher expectations and didn't feel worth the cost.

Excellent Food. It was very busy creating that the wine was served after the dish. Overall - a wonderful experience and worthwhile experiencing.

Years ago I ate at Black Cat. It was amazing. Bramble and Hare are the same owners and seemed to have similar menus. So, I was very excited for this reservation. It ended up being a very disappointing meal. The service was terrible. Our waiter talked to the tables around us but barely said a word to us. Others got their food first even when they arrived after us and we just sat there with empty glasses and barely an explanation about what we were being served. The courses seemed disconnected and although individual aspects were good, the dishes as a whole did not fit. Then came the main course. The steak was so overcooked and that it was hard to chew. We had to send it back and immediately received a new piece that was just as bad. In addition, we asked for a wine recommendation for our main course and the sommelier was not very helpful. I cannot drink red wine because it gives me horrible headaches. He seemed to be of the opinion that there are no white wines that go with steak. This is something I have never had trouble with at other high end restaurants such as the Capital Grille. We would have ordered a coffee or another drink with our dessert but we were never asked if we needed anything else. When the check came, it included the gratuity, but the only reason we knew this was because we heard the waiter tell another table. We were very kind and polite to the waiter but we are a little older than the people seated around us and felt like we were not cool enough to receive good service in this restaurant.

What a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. Outstanding service by Will who was very helpful in recommending creative cocktails and wine, and all the servers who delivered piping hot dishes to our table. The meal was excellent from the bread selection, both savory and sweet, through the four course fixe prix menu. We sat in the cozy and welcoming dining area where we could watch the chefs creating the dishes and we loved it. Lovely night. We will definitely be returning to this gem.

One of our very favorites in Boulder! The atmosphere is cozy and reasonably quiet, the food and wine are always amazing, and the servers were all friendly and knowledgeable.

Given that I’m not a dessert person I should have known that a 3 course prix fixe probably wasn’t the best option for me. I barely touched the dessert but the app and main were very good. Service was slow but we were with friends and the ambiance and vibe were great so I didn’t mind too much. Expected slightly better food but would go recommend for anyone who enjoys 3 courses.
