In Brazil, “Boteco” is the friendly neighbourhood bar with lively music and atmosphere...and that’s exactly where our inspiration comes from, the traditional botecos of Rio de Janeiro. You can enjoy a refreshing Caipirinha – our signature drink and an essential part of any Brazilian celebration – or sample the infamous 'urban' menu of the streets from our delicious tapas menu. When you visit Boteco, you are immediately reminded of the things that make Brazil so attractive: we’re colourful, vibrant, fresh and exotic! Scotland may be far away from Copacabana beach, but at Boteco you can get a taste of Brazil even on the rainy days! We're open 7 nights a week, till 3AM. A funky pub & restaurant offering a truly relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Featuring live music, DJs and dancing with tropical cocktails available every night. Our eclectic menu is guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters with our vast array of tapas, traditional dishes and international cuisine.

6 ladies visiting celebrating a birthday had a lovely meal staff super helpful and attentive. Great music and dancing. Would recommend for a fun night!

Visited on the 1st anniversary of our first date. Thoroughly enjoyed last year but sadly can’t say the same this year. Placed in a small corner facing a wall. Only one bottle of red wine on the menu and it was awful. Had to ask for glasses chicken meal was full of fat and tasted of fish. Only positive of the night was a chat with the Spanish waitress in Spanish who I had a lovely conversation with last time around. She is a credit.

Everyhting was lovely to be honest. The servers we had were absolute sweethearts and super helpful. The food was nice, the feijoada could have a bit more flavour (salt/pepper/more spices or herbs), to be exactly like the brazilian one though. As a portuguese, we're used to good brazilian and portuguese food (which has many similarities), so we usually expect more flavour and love our food salty! The salgados (salty pastries) were lovely though (rissois, coxinha, and pao de queijo). Good job. The lulas (calamari) lacked flavour, shame because the seasoning was great. The brigadeiros were lovely, good job. The cocktails were perfect, great Caipirinha, definitely bringing my brazilian and portuguese family and friends there next time ;). Overall, great experience, would come back.

Food was disappointing, the venue wasn't very clean. Although the waiters were nice and friendly, there were only two of them. They kept messing up our orders and the bill multiple times. I will go somewhere else next time.
