Después de leer el caso de Benihana en la escuela de negocios IPADE, tenía mucho interés en conocer el restaurante que fue punta de lanza en su segmento. Fue un poco decepcionante ver que no se trata de un restaurante elegante y ha sido superado por muchos restaurantes de tepanyaki. El lugar estaba sucio en los pasillos, escaleras, la propia parrilla, los baños. El cocinero que nos tocó fue muy atento pero estaba ya muy cansado y sudando mucho. Creo que pueden mejorar muchos aspectos. la comida estaba buena.

Had a reservation for 4:30 and had to wait half hour to be seated only to wait another 25 minutes before being served. Spent over $400 for 3 adults 1 child. Not complaining about price but not worth hassle. Too many great establishments downtown with great drinks, eats and atmosphere for the money.

Took 45 min to be seated and we arrived 32 min early because we knew there might be a slight wait. Were told three times only 15 more min. Not even close! After being sat the drinks took 37 minutes and then the soup and salad were served promptly BUT….took nearly TWO HOURS!!!!, before a chef showed up to cook for us!!! Insane! Then the waitress, Angela, never came back to refill drinks or get us a fork etc etc. had to ask the chef if she went home. Literally zero staff even walking around to assist in her absence! Another couple suggested the chef get directly to the food without the show and we agreed to it so he started right in cooking g then performed after. He’s was so cool and we loved him! Zero apologies from the staff or manager or comps offered or a discount. Nada! Will never ever go back and steer people away from this location. Have been a loyal customer from my Ballet West days and beyond as a child. Never again. Horrible service and mistake in my checkbook! Not the first time I e had a li g wait at the table or hearing about this same poor customer service from a friend or family member.

I reserved the table two months in advance and showed up only to wait over 35 mins for our table. We showed up 5 mins early and I checked in that morning the day of the reservation. They said something about the person taking the calls screwed up….😵‍💫 I don’t believe it. The cook was good but I was already too upset to care about the rest because of how poor the check in and wait was.

My waiter rushed us and then proceeded to press the tip herself after pointing out my receipt in my face and my date! Embarrassing and unprofessional, but I chose to not make a scene and just walked my date out!
