    Mi experiencias en Benihana han sido excelentes, el ambiente es muy sano el ruido moderado pero al mismo tiempo las expectaciones del excelente desempeño de Arturo nuestro table chef hacen que levantes tu voz jajaja la comida tiene un sabor único que supera las espectativas de cualquier paladar y la preparación antes durante y después de cocinar la comida hace que te sientas en un lugar acogedor y te da la confianza de comer todo lo que a tu ojo se te cocina. Gracias Benihana y excelente trabajo Arturo, gracias por hablar con nosotros en nuestro idioma integrándonos a tu trabajo junto con los demás comensales .

    We had a reservation at 430 and didn’t actually eat until 6:10. We were a party of 2 out for early date night and were seated with another 5 individuals. Our group as a whole did not get the run down of how the experience works so the others in our party were very confused, which is what I assume made the evening complicated. Service was not good, food was not good and the evening as a whole was ruined when we sat for 20+ minutes without acknowledgment. We had to grab a manager/server to ask about our meals after we had been seated for almost an hour with only drinks. We asked to pay during entrees because we had to be home by 7, we thought 2 hours was going to be more than enough time to go out. We also didn’t get the 6th course because we had to run. When we did pay there was a service charge on our bill? Was that the tip? We were confused and the server just kept apologizing. We are frequent Benihana lovers but if this was our first time, we wouldn’t go back.

    Positives: Jose, our chef, put on a good show and prepared mostly tasty food. Our server was good about refilling drinks and removing dirty dishes. Negatives: When we were seated, the host warned us to be careful of the floor because it is slippery. We found oil all over the floor as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a month. The floor was dangerously slippery. The hood vent over the grill did not work so when the chef was preparing the food, smoke was billowing all around us making our eyes burn and our clothes smelled afterwards. The light on the grill did not work either making it hard to watch the chefs show, which is part of what we pay the inflated prices for.  The service was very slow at the start, we waited about 20 minutes for a glass of water. Our reservation was at 4 o’clock, so the restaurant was not overly busy at this time.  There was also no music in the area we were seated and no ambience whatsoever.  It is really unfortunate that this restaurant can’t seem to get it together. Year’s ago it was a good spot, now it is an overpriced dive.

    Most of it was great until we got to the bill. I was charged a tip I was charged a food service fee I was charged a couple other fees along with tax. My bill that should have been around $275 ended up being $375 outrageous will never go back! A tip is not required to be given. If I choose to leave a tip it is because they did a good job, I should not be required to leave one.

    Well I booked for a nice valentines dinner that I stated and when we arrived we were crammed at a super full table and next to a birthday group of ten year old boys who were screaming most the time I regret booking for this occasion

    Cliff, our chef, was outstanding. He knows what he’s doing & was good with a varied crowd. Service was also good. Wayyyyyyy too much garlic butter on everything. Lots of salt, too. Would’ve preferred a say in how our very expensive food was prepared.
