Está cordialmente invitado a experimentar una decoración contemporánea, aperitivos recién hechos por chefs profesionales y un servicio excepcional. El restaurante ofrece asientos para grupos de hasta 80 personas. El patio al aire libre es perfecto para las noches de verano y el salón proporciona un ambiente emocionante para ver juegos deportivos con amigos. El menú de ofrece ensaladas frescas como aperitivo, ensalada de pollo y nuez de la India, sándwich NY Strip (filete de res, cebolla, tomillo, arúgula y crema), pescado empanizado con papas fritas, salmón a la parrilla ¡y mucho más! Baxters Grille is an expert when it comes to great catering in Bloomington, IL and surrounding areas. We cater from small office parties to large scale formal weddings and everything in between. We have the privilege of working with the top venues in town and offer chef driven custom menus to meet your specific needs. We also offer full catering & staffing to the attached Holiday Inn & Suites Hotel.

We both had a New York Strip for $39 each. They were both cooked medium which was fine, but the meat had a lot of gristle in it. They were very poor quality. Our baked potatoes were both served barely warm and mine was not done. The service was excellent but the food was poor.

The ribeye steaks were tough and flavorless. The macaroni and cheese was dry and overcooked. We specifically asked our server (Andrea) what was on the mixed greens salad. She said “Greens, croutons, tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese.” The salads arrived topped with pickled red onions (YUCK!). Oh, and it’s not Parmesan cheese but mozzarella or Jack - which is fine, but not what Andrea said. We also asked her what kind of potatoes are used for the mashed potatoes - russet, Yukon gold, or something else? (At one time Yukon gold were being used which we don’t care for) She said she didn’t know so she asked someone and promptly returned with the answer of “Idaho potatoes.” LOL! Yeah, that’s not an answer so that’s why we tried the mac and cheese. So, we were overall disappointed this outing. It wasn’t so bad we won’t return, but a huge letdown for Christmas Eve dinner. Hopefully next time will be better.

Love the Baxter salad. Order it with your entree. Chicken piccata was yummy. I like the asparagus with it. Service was good and great value.

Baxter’s has been our go-to restaurant for years because we never leave disappointed! Food, service, and atmosphere are excellent. Highly recommend!

We go back regularly. The quality of food to price is about right, but not a bargain. Great date night or family celebration. Service is good. They did make a mistake, the waiter forgot to check if prime rib was available, and it delayed my order, but they took some off the bill for the trouble. This only happened one time, most of the time the service is outstanding.

We were bummed. Food was sub-par as well as service. We were told to order dessert because it was my birthday. It would be complimentary. Then they charged us. Would not return. I’m sure they mean well but we were disappointed overall.
