Artu was founded on the most basic Italian technique, great ingredients, simply prepared, that is what Artu is all about.

In February of 1992 Artu opened its doors to the world, starting with outstanding sandwiches and mouth watering roasted meats, we continued to evolve and grow. Since then we have steadily added to our repertoire. From those sandwiches and roasted meats, we have produced old-world comfort food dishes to current interpretations of those classics that still make the most discerning eater reminisce of their childhood.

Good service, really nice server!! But food just wasn’t up to scratch, no one at table could finish meal. I got the prawn pasta and it had no flavour and all the others said the cheese tasted bad. Hoped for better for the location we were in!

Our food was extremely delayed while others around us who came later were all served. We asked about it several times and were told it was coming any minute. The wait staff basically were avoiding looking at us or telling us anything about our order and have an excuse about the fish special takes longer to cook. Completely ridiculous response since fish cooks very quick. In the end they gave us free dessert which we said we didn’t want, and they really didn’t care. I will not return.

One of the best Boston has to offer! Apps, entrees, drinks, desserts etc all AMAZING! Try the hot n dirty martini!

One of my favorite restaurants in the north end and an awesome date spot. I highly recommended visiting and you should ask the server for the eggplant rollatini which is an off menu item.

6 adults went to Artú before the Andrea Bocelli concert. The place was packed but we were able to hold conversations across the table. Noise level is not an issue here. Fortunate for us we had Connor as a server! Nothing short of exceptional! He is Friendly focused and as busy as it was, he was delightful and assisted us to pair our meals with great glasses of wine. I hope he wasn’t the only server for the house as the place was really packed. The food is Outstanding : Beef Short Rib Ravioli 🥰 everything was delicious and the 6 of us can’t wait to be back. As an aside the bathrooms were immaculate. I’m not sure how many they have on staff but they are doing a great job. See you soon Artú

This was not a typical North End dining experience. It was ok to wait 15 minutes for table, it’s a small restaurant and host can’t control the turnover. However, the waiter was horrendous. We sat down and explained we had comedy tickets so we wanted to order entrees quickly and would leave in an hour. 55 minutes later, our pasta entrees arrived. We repeatedly asked status and it was always just a few minutes. Ridiculous.
