El Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar abrió sus puertas en el 2009, reviviendo el antiguo nombre de la Cumberland Street y restaurando esta esquina histórica. Esta renovación se mantiene fiel a la belleza de la arquitectura original del siglo XIX al tiempo que crea un ambiente cómodo para la vida contemporánea. Esta marisquería, ubicada en el 205 East Bay Street del corazón del distrito histórico de Charleston, ofrece espacios interiores y al aire libre a pocos pasos del mercado local y el puerto Charleston. El menú incluye una variedad de platillos de mariscos como las ostras, almejas y camarones, además de un menú en constante aumento en el bar de crudos. The oysters, Tuna Tartare and Shrimp we ordered were fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and the decor of the restaurant was modern yet comfortable. We enjoyed our dinner here so much that we plan to return for lunch before we leave Charleston.

If you are looking for a place to eat gluten-free, this is not the place. The waitress was not very knowledgeable. She really didn’t care. She just put out with any questions about anything. I felt like we were bothering her every time we asked for something. The hostess wasn’t really friendly again she was acting like she was put out her self not only will I not come back to Charleston South Carolina which is a beautiful city, but I’ll never go back to this restaurant!

Fantastic meal and service. I will make this simple. We had 4 different dishes and the Bulliabaisse was probably the best dish I have ever had at a restaurant. I shared it with the rest of the group and they agreed. It was so amazing they kept offering me their meal in exchange for mine. The shrimp and grits was also a great dish. Loved the atmosphere and the service as well.

Absolutely wonderful. Great food, great service. Hot sauce is incredible, we had to buy 2 to take home!
