Para adelantarse a la celebración del 10° aniversario de su restaurante, Delio Susi refinó con gran éxito el menú y el diseño interior del lugar. La comida es limpia pero claramente italiana y ligeramente rústica, sin perder sus raíces abruzzi. La estancia cálida y acogedora expresa una esencia parecida. Susi recurrió a su experiencia en arquitectura para presentar un diseño interior que juega con materiales orgánicos muy simples, como mosaicos cuadrados y mesas de piedra, así como bancos tapizados de cuero marrón. El uso de ladrillos y accesorios de cobre contribuye al ambiente italiano campirano/casual donde se sirve comida y vino para acompañar. El restaurante también cuenta con pisos de madera y ventanas estilo europeo abiertas durante el verano que contribuyen a la atmósfera del lugar, mientras que las lámparas rojas que cuelgan contrastando vívidamente con los tonos tierra durante el día, iluminan con un brillo llamativo durante la noche. Both pasta dishes were overcooked and the gnocchi had quite a lot of sugar on them. The tiramisu was ok.

The server was wonderful. He and his team were responsive to all of our needs. The food, magnifico cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to go back. It was so good.

I came here about a year ago with my now girlfriend for a first date. I wanted to recreate that first date for Valentine’s Day and Amelia’s Trattoria was just as perfect as that day! Food was delicious, staff were fast and attentive, and answered all of our questions. Thank you for everything!

The food here is outstanding and service could not be better. Unfortunately, this popular restaurant chooses to pack far too many people into too small a space. They and their customers deserve larger quarters with more breathing room, not to mention an entry vestibule to keep winter winds out. My wife and I were seated inches from couples on either side of us. We could clearly hear and had to compete with every single word of their date night conversations. Exhausted from shouting to be heard over our neighbors, we skipped the tempting desserts and any plans to return until warmer weather makes outdoor seating possible.

Amelia’s is my favorite spot in Cambridge! Cozy relaxed atmosphere perfect for special occasions or date nights, food is always excellent - my favorite is the chicken piccata, and service is lovely.

Always terrific. We have been going here for years. Everything about this restaurant is exceptional. The staff, environment, menu and delicious food made the evening special.
