The Castlefield Rooms offer a boutique, out of the ordinary, venue in central Manchester, in a stunning position within a conservation area on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal. With a superb location in Manchester City Centre, near all major transport links, complimentary on site parking and the highest levels of service and cuisine, the Castlefield Rooms are the perfect venue to hold your wedding, corporate event or party. We offer a choice of three contrasting spaces for anything from 25 to 250 guests together with a range of competitively priced event packages. The versatility of the spaces is also reflected in the variety of menus available from the acclaimed kitchens of Albert’s Shed Restaurant and Dukes 92 which are located on the same site as The Castlefield Rooms. Whichever space you decide on you will have our dedicated Events Team on hand to ensure the smooth and efficient running of your event.

El local y el servicio son muy agradables y la comida excelente relación precio calidad. Pedimos el menú de 2 platos por 11.95£ y los compartimos entre las tres personas que fuimos. Los seis platos estaban riquísimos!!! Si lugar a duda, lo recomiendo.

One of our favourite places, but unfortunately disappointing experience this time. Starter came and was cold in the middle they did change it and the next one is fine. The main course steak had been sous vide and had little taste. Very disappointed, unfortunately, but we will try again sometime

Underwhelming Sunday Roast. Small Portion 2 small round thin lives of beef, size of a cup rim. Would not recommend. Great staff

Lovely restaurant, great for a get together with friends and enjoy good food. Little noisy due to a large party dining at the same time, and it was a little slow in brining over drinks (they arrived after our food) but it was delicious and we would definitely return if in Manchester again. Our waitresses were also very friendly and welcoming. Price wise it's value for money and the food is quite luxurious.

First time visiting Alberts Shed, the place is lovely, staff very friendly and helpful, food and service was amazing, i'll definitely visit again.

Pleasant helpful staff. Impressive surroundings, food was amazing and good value for money. We had never dined there before and weren’t disappointed. Great location.

We were forgotten about. Booked a table knowing we would be outside. We were greeted by a super friendly manager who reassured us that even though it’s cold we had heaters and a wonderful server. The heaters yes the server.. no. She blatantly told just she had forgotten about us after we had been sat outside without being greeted for 10 minutes. Then when she did greet us she told us how she had been over an hour late to work because of how hungover she was and she was hoping to be first cut….Not a great start. She was very sweet and the food was fantastic but after a quick check in our server disappeared completely (maybe she got her wish of being cut). After being unattended for 40 minutes my husband went and told the manager. A completely different server came and cleared our plates and brought us the bill. We ended up going up to the front to pay and the manager that was so kind in the beginning wouldn’t even look up or make eye contact with us. Very disappointed. Wont ever be back.
