Muy buena atención, con su mejor esfuerzo que asoma un poco de tinte de arrogancia o cansancio al explicar ocontestar a la solicitud de Recomendar el lugar pequeño y reducido pero de atmósfera muy agradable, el pan deja mucho que desear, fetuchini Alfredo q no está en la carta bien logrado de buen sabor al dente pero mas al burro q Alfredo , un salmón a la naranja con bastante por mejorar, Una milanesa de cordero in bone ( $50 usd) desabrida y empatizado mal logrado y de gruesa capa , cruda la carne pegada al hueso con guarnición de polenta sin sabor, milanesa sin posibilidades de Tratar de mejorar aunque sea con Salsa Tabasco (seguramente prohibida por el chef)pero ni pico de gallo ni nada como para tratar de salvar el platillo pues no hay más q agregar q un poco sal. Al final un postre Tiramisu que asumimos haría honores al nombre del restaurante y pues nada , un simple muffin de tienda de autoservicio , buen café, buen Proseco . El restaurante me lo recomendó gente local, TripAdvisor lo califica con 5 , Yelp con 4 , hay fotos de personajes distinguidos de comensales , pero quizá de la historia (hace 15-20 años). En definitiva buscaría otra opción de restaurante Italiano

In town for family reasons, but took one afternoon to reconnect with a high school classmate from 50 years ago. Al Tiramisu was the perfect place. Intimate and quiet, wonderful food served with perfection by our waiter and other staff. Highly recommended.

We clearly had an excellent experience on 2/19/25 while on a visit to Washington DC. We were staying just a few blocks away so the walk from our hotel was an easy walk from 22nd street. We booked an early reservation at 5pm as we were leaving early the next day. The reviews stating that this is the best Italian restaurant in DC are spot on. Until retirement I spent numerous visits on business in DC and have eaten in numerous restaurants and I agree this is the best Italian food not only in DC but at the top of other restaurants I have visited anywhere else I have dined. As our reservation was at an early time the noise level was very quiet but I doubt we would have been disturbed at a later time frame. The service was superb and the maitre d was extremely helpful with recommendations for the specials and selected a great wine choice. My wife would have liked a protein with her ravioli dish but rather than ordering one as a side she shared the plentiful lobster pieces with my linguini with lobster selection. Everything from the wine, entree's and desert severved by a great friendly staff made for a great end to our visit. We will certainly return each time wee are in Washington. Cibo eccellente!

The experienced staff guided to winning choices for our meal. Excellent service meant we never waited long for a course but never felt rushed. We weren’t ignored once a course arrived, but there was no hovering over our table either. Finished dishes were cleared when all diners had finished and fresh silverware brought for each course. It’s these little touches that will make repeat customers of us!

I took my wife to Al Tiramisu for Valentine's Day...what a perfect choice. The ambiance felt like we were squirreled away in a cozy corner of Rome. The wait staff were expertly choreographed, handing off trays, finishing each other's sentences, practically dancing between the tables to tend to their delighted diners. The food was exquisite, from start to finish, and didn't break the bank. We're definitely adding this as one of our "go-to" places to dine in DC.
