Whether for a special celebration, or simply the pleasure of a quintessentially English ritual performed with unparalleled attention to detail, Afternoon Tea at The Lanesborough is an occasion to be treasured. Mere moments from Knightsbridge and leafy Hyde Park just across the road, The Lanesborough is the ideal choice for afternoon tea in London.

Served daily in the majestic, naturally-lit surroundings of the hotel’s dining room, The Lanesborough Grill, afternoon tea is accompanied by a pianist at weekends.

Bridgerton Afternoon tea - we sat in the raised area around the main regency room. We were eating at 12.30 on a Monday so nice and quiet. Piano music lovely and the food was exceptional . We were not rushed at any point and the sandwiches and themed cakes were lovely and gooey. The lemon curd with the scones was really good - there was strawberry jam as well. We were asked if we want more sandwiches and I was provided with a box to take a couple of cakes home.

5 star Afternoon Tea experience. This is the second time I have visited for Afternoon Tea. I've previously visited for The Freda Experience & have always wanted to come back. So it was a real treat coming with my son & his girlfriend seeing the hotel so beautifully dressed up for Christmas. I have to thank all the staff who make the experience so special for us. The attention to detail & the fact that every single member knew it was my son's birthday really makes The Lanesborough standout from the crowd & my second visit even better than my first.

We had the most wonderful experience with the Bridgerton Afternoon Tea. Beautiful ambience and fantastic service. Thoroughly recommended! We will definitely be coming back.

The staff were so attentive and the service was fantastic. The piano player was also amazing! The food was incredible and so was the Bridgerton cocktail. I would definitely recommend afternoon tea at The Lanesborough.

Undeniable in a rich vibrance that kept my wife and I sighing with joy and sadness. Joy from the bubbly merriment of the experience. Sadness from the crashing realization that it wasn’t forever. Would suggest as the premiere experience for afternoon tea this holiday season.

I wanted to share our appreciation for the delightful experience at Bridgestone Afternoon Tea. The service was exceptional, with our server attending to every detail, including frequent tea refills, ensuring we were well taken care of. With guests visiting from abroad, it was the perfect setting for a memorable afternoon. Thank you for making it special. From the second you enter the Lanesborough Hotel you are greeted with a warm welcome and that warmth continues all the way through every staff member that you come in contact with while in the hotel. The Bridgerton Inspired afternoon tea was faultless. As someone who loves, respects the craft of afternoon tea and attends afternoon tea 6-8 times a year I categorise my experiences in alphabetical order A,B,C,D & F. I place my experience of this afternoon tea at the top of my A group. Thank you to all the staff at the Lanesborough Hotel for not only making my birthday special but for the amazing afternoon tea a wonderful experience.
