   Outstanding from start to finish. Our server, Mikaela, was amazing and made it a great evening. Just regretting that it will probably be our last opportunity. Thank you for many years of great food and memories. Wishing you the best. Bob and Carole Troutman

   As a Raleigh native, we drove from Greensboro to dine at my favorite restaurant one last time. It’s a shame to see such a fine Raleigh establishment close for good. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was great as always. Mr. Larry greeted our table and we exchanged stories from over the years. From my family to yours, we wish the waitstaff, chefs, bartenders, and oyster-shuckers the best of luck in their next journey ❤️

   We waiting 2 hours for our food and finally had to get it to go. We were not even offered a discount.

   I've been going there since it opened in 1987. I feel like an old friend is moving away. I wish they would relocate and reopen. It is yet another piece of our old Raleigh dissapearing. Truly sad.

    Too bad the peers sold out and did not leave a historic restaurant in place. Raleigh is losing its small town appeal.
